Manual overrides - please save

You have probably heard that there are some new privacy laws that are going into effect soon, such as the Nevada privacy law (effective date: October 1st, 2019) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (effective date: January 1st, 2020).

We will be updating your Privacy Policy shortly to make sure that you stay compliant. We will also be pushing new features that will help us make the auto-updating an even more seamless experience in the future.

If you have not manually changed the text of your policies by using the Override feature, or do not wish to keep your manual changes, no action is needed from you at this time.

If you manually changed the text of your policies by using the Override feature, please do the following by September 15th, 2019:

  • Log in to your Termageddon account at https://app.termageddon.com/;
  • Click on the install that you have manually edited;
  • For each policy, click the “Override Policy” link and scroll to the segment(s) you’ve made changes to;
  • Click the “Edit” button to open a pop-up containing the modified segment, and click “Save Changes”.

Here is a video that shows you how to do it.

Please note that any manual overrides that are not saved prior to September 15th, 2019 will be lost.

Agencies, please share the install with your clients and forward this email to them if you have not given us their email.

If you have any questions or need help, do not hesitate to contact us! We are excited for the upgrades we are making to the system and for helping you stay compliant with the new privacy laws!
