Termajargon: Policy Terms Defined

Cancellation Policy

A Cancellation Policy is a set of disclosures that explains to customers what to do if they change their mind about their purchase and ask to not receive the goods, services or digital products prior to shipment, download or performance of a service. A good Cancellation Policy will reflect whether you offer cancellations, inform the individual of what they must do to request a cancellation and provide information regarding the availability of refunds for cancelled orders.
