Iowa SF262 is a privacy law that will go into effect on January 1, 2025 and will provide residents of Iowa with new privacy rights, and require businesses that need to comply with this law to have a Privacy Policy that contains certain disclosures. Iowa SF262 will apply to any person conducting business in Iowa and that controls or processes the personal data of at least 100,000 Iowa residents per year or that controls or processes the personal data of at least 25,000 residents of Iowa and derives over 50% of gross revenue from the sale of personal data per year.
